Lisa and I met while attending the Young Singles group at St. John's Episcopal Church in the Spring of 2000. We were engaged in March of 2001, and were married on April 27, 2002. Our son, Benjamin is 9 years old and our son William is 3.
Soon after we began dating, I began to discern a call to the Episcopal priesthood. In 2005, we packed up our family and moved to Nashotah, Wisconsin for seminary. I graduated from seminary in May, 2008 and was ordained a deacon (December, 2007) and a priest (June, 2008) in the Episcopal Church. In August, 2010, I moved from the Episcopal Church to the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). I have been the rector of St. Michael's Anglican Church in Ridgecrest, California, since September, 2010.
My wife Lisa, who began her career in engineering, left the engineering field to follow her passion for young children. She was the Director of Children's Ministry for St. John's and is now the Site Supervisor for Immanuel Christian Child Development Center. She is pursuing her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
